Q1.  What are the Library timings and working hours ?  
Ans. Library is open from 9 AM to 10 PM on all working days and from 9.30 AM to 6 PM on Saturday & Sunday.  
Q2. Who are authorized to use the IIM Library ?  
Ans. All students, faculty members and staff of the Institute are authorized to use the Library. Visitor or guest is permitted with the prior permission of the Librarian. He/She is required to produce a proper introduction letter from the concerned Institution/Organization to which he/she is attached.  
Q3. Can a current issue of journals be issued to a Library member?  
Ans. No, current issue of journals are not issued to any category of library user. It is available for reference.  
Q4. Can my spouse and children use the Library?  
Ans. Yes. Your spouse and children can access the library resources by producing the Library  Card issued to you.  
Q5. How can I recommend a book for purchase in the Library ?  
Ans. An authorized user can recommended a book for purchase by filling-in a “Book recommendation Form” that can be downloaded from the Library website.  
Q6. Can I bring my personal books or other reading materials to the Library ?  
Ans. No. users are not allowed to bring their personal books or other reading materials to the library.

Ans. You can access the library catalogue through the OPAC link  which is also available at Library website.  
Q8. How can I borrow resources?  
Ans. You can issue the books at circulation counter only. For details please visit library rules & regulations given in the library website.

Ans. You can return the books at circulation counter only.  
Q10. How can I renew books?  
Ans.  You can renew the books at circulation counter only on physical production of books.  
Q11. Which resource I cannot borrow?  
Ans. The resources which you cannot borrow are “New Arrival Display, Journals, Magazine, CDs/DVDs and Reference Materials”. Reference materials can be issued in special cases to faculty only on written request for overnight.  
Q12. How do I reserve/hold books ?  
Ans. You can reserve/hold a books through the opac and circulation counter. Please note that you can reserve a books only if it is checked out.  
Q13. How do I access the journal online?  
Ans. Online journals can be accessed through the library website under the E Resources menu.

Q15. How can I access the E-Resouces if I am out of campus?  
Ans. You can access the E – Resources through the link Remote Access of Library Resources also available in the website. You need to write library to create your remote login credentials.
